Chapter 8

In the morning, the girls woke up, took their bath and went down stairs for breakfast. The previous day Arabella’s parents were not at home, they went to a party and came back late.
Arabella was happy as she saw that her parents were back.
“Mom!” she said joyfully as she hug her from the back.
“I miss you mom!” She said
“If you really missed me, why didn’t you come and visit?” Her mom, Mrs. Wilfred asked
“Sorry ma, I was busy, don’t worry, I will spend this week holiday with you and whenever am free I will come visit” She said
Her dad cleared his throat and Arabella release her hold on her mom. Her friends were already standing close to the chair they want to sit, watching Arabella and her mom.
When Arabella was young, she always hugged her dad, but now she is grew, her dad stopped her from hugging him, saying it was childish.
“Dad, good morning” she greeted
“Good morning sir and ma” Zoe greeted
Everyone looked at her. Charvi and Arabella looked at each other and chuckled, while Mrs. Wilfred smiled.
“Good morning to you all” Charvi greeted
‘This girls and their crazy greetings' Arabella thought to herself
“Morning dears, how was the night?” Mr. Wilfred asked
“It was fine ” Zoe reply
“It was expensive” Charvi reply
Arabella couldn’t hold it again she laughed, her mom chuckled while Mr. Wilfred smiled.
“You girls haven’t changed a bit” Mrs. Wilfred said
“please your seat and enjoy your breakfast” Mrs. Wilfred told them
They sat down. Mr. Wilfred sat in the head chair, with his wife sitting at his right followed by Arabella. Charvi and Zoe are sitting at Mr. Wilfred Left, the first sit at his left is empty. The sit is for Arabella’s senior and only brother, no one sits there except him.
“After the death of Gabriel you started wearing glasses, I miss you with glasses, don’t you think Gabriel miss it too?” Her mom asked sadly
Arabella don’t like seeing her mom sad, but she still don’t want anyone to see her eyes wet.
“She is not always with glasses, she takes it off when she want to sleep” Zoe said with a smile
“So that means I can come later in the night and see her without glasses?” Mrs. Wilfred asked as her mood lighten up.
The three girls giggle. The dining room light up with their happy chat.
“Mom you will need a touch light” Zoe said
“And a key” Arabella added
“Why touch light?” Mrs. Wilfred ask
“Mom, you can’t turn on the light, you will end up waking her” Charvi reply
“And she will wear the glasses back” Zoe add
A guy stepped in.
