MY GOD, WHEN?
Part 28.
Life wasn't easy for Darasimi. She had no job, no husband to call her own.
Many people who once knew her to be the wife of a rich man were surprised to see her in her parents house.
Her parents could not hide their feelings. They didn't fail to reprove her for making the wrong choice in marriage after all their counsels.
Of a truth, Darasimi's mum warned her not to marry Daniel because her prophet once told her that the marriage won't last.
He made her to understand that getting married to Daniel would be a very dangerous one. So, ever since that day Darasimi introduced Daniel to her parents as her husband-to-be, her mother wasn't in support of Daniel being her husband.
She cajoled her husband not to allow Daniel to marry her daughter.
When Darasimi realized that her parents weren't in support, she threatened to commit suicide. She starved herself for days just because her parents were against her.
The next Sunday, the prophet told Darasimi to see him in his office. On getting there, she met a young man. The young man was such a cute man but, not her spec. So, she had to overlook those thoughts running in her mind.
The prophet made her to understand that the young man was her perfect husband.
She couldn't believe her eyes. She stood up without thinking twice and left his office.
The prophet told her mum about what transpired. Her mum tried to persuade her to marry the young man but, everything became futile. Her heart was fixed. It was either Daniel or nobody.
Her father could not bear it anymore when his daughter became so lean. He had to call Daniel to tell him he had approved their relationship.
The mother wanted to stand against it but, it was too late. She had no choice than to accept Daniel just like that.
The fact that Darasimi returned to her parents house after the demise of Daniel made things complicated. Darasimi's mum didn't make life easy for her daughter.
One of Darasimi's greatest mistakes was not learning a skill while in school when there were lot of opportunities to learn one skill or the other.
For some months in her parents' house, she couldn't secure a job. Life was unbearable for her. She was mocked by her neighbors. Her family members didn't make things easy for her.
Along the line, I connected her to my mentor who stood by her. My mentor was there for her. She encouraged her and drew her closer to God.

I know you'll be eager to know more about my marital life.
Well, many men asked for my hands in marriage but my story chased them away. They weren't ready to marry a woman without a womb despite the level of love some of them professed to have for me.
A man was actually interested in me. He told me his intentions. After critically examining him in the place of prayers and other aspects of his life, I gave him a yes.
I was expecting him to leave me when I finally revealed my past to him. To my greatest surprise, he didn't change his mind. He really stood by me. He promised to marry me irrespective of my past.
My joy knew no bound when I finally found a man who was ready to accept me irrespective of my past.
Our love waxed stronger. He drew me closer to God the more. Our purpose aligned. In fact, he was all I could ever ask for. He brought out the best in me.
He was such a man with wisdom. He really understood me. He was just everything to me.
When I thought I had found my man, Devil stood and disrupted everything.
I thought I had found the man I would love to spend the rest of my life with. I thought I had found the best gift I could ever ask for. I thought I was going to leave singlehood so soon not knowing that it wasn't what I planned.
Well, everything was going on fine like I said, not until he decided to take me to his parents for introduction.
Before we went that day to his parent's house, he orientated me. He told me many things I needed to know about his parents.
Fear gripped my soul at a point.
Along the line, we traveled to his town. On getting there, I tried to comport myself to the best of my knowledge.
I noticed that the woman wasn't pleased with me. The way she responded to my greetings made my heart to sink. I managed to fake smiles.
The woman was just looking at me as if I was a piece of rag. Her husband was the only one that accepted me wholeheartedly.
After some minutes, I just noticed that the woman called her son to the room. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know why she called him in.
I felt a very strong urge to ease myself. I asked his father to show me where the restroom was. He did.
I walked in there to use the restroom. As I was about to leave, I heard the mother's voice.
I almost ran mad.
"Leke, are you telling me that the woman you brought here is your wife- to-be? Doesn't she look like a prostitute? She may look innocent but, don't let that one deceive you. It is either she is a witch or prostitute." She said.
My husband-to-be tried his best to convince her mother that I was a good woman. He tried to convince her that I was neither a witch nor prostitute.
His mother told him to look into her eyes and tell her that I wasn't a prostitute. He did.
Along the line, he uttered a statement.
He said "Despite the fact that Damilola has no womb, I will marry..."
He didn't finish his words when his mother shouted at him.
"Are you trying to tell me that that filthy rag has no womb?" She asked.
"Well, you're not getting married to someone like her."She said as she was trying to open the door.
I quickly ran back to where I was sitting.
Thank God I wasn't caught.
