MY GOD, WHEN?

Part 26.

Daniel was asked to kill Darasimi within three days. The herbalist made him to understand that Darasimi was the next meat for his sacrifice. Mind you, Daniel had sacrificed 7 children inorder to get more money initially.

Daniel's failure to offer Darasimi as "meat" for his sacrifice would lead to his death.

In order not to die, Daniel tried all he could to kill Darasimi. Killing her was an herculean task for him. Remember, I told you that he sent Darasimi out of his house.

He tried reaching her but failed. He was in trouble. He was confused. He was scared of death. He didn't know what to do.

He never knew Darasimi was in her pastor's house. All attempt to get Darasimi became futile.

On the second day, my friend's pastor visited Daniel. He was led to Daniel to tell him about the great love of Jesus.

Pastor met Daniel in a pathetic state. He tried to preach the gospel to him but, his heart was hardened. All that was on his mind was how to get Darasimi. Death was knocking at his door so strong, yet, he never wanted to die.

When the pastor was about to take his leave, Daniel asked if he knew where his wife was.

He made Daniel to understand that Darasimi had been with him for some weeks.

I don't know what came upon Daniel. He began to shed tears. He begged the pastor that he would like to see her. He told him he just wanted her back as his wife. He wanted her to forgive him for all he had done to her.

The pastor finally took him to his house to see Darasimi.

On getting home, Darasimi was nowhere to be found. They tried reaching her on phone, all to no avail.

Darasimi already sensed danger and that was why she left her pastor's place. She went to church to embark on a spiritual battle. She prayed to God to reveal things to her. She prayed for the salvation of her husband.

On the night of the second day, Daniel was almost turning to a mad man. Well, his mission was just to touch Darasimi with his hand. In that hand, a ring must be inserted into one of those fingers. As soon as he touches her, she must definitely die.

In one word, all attempts to reach Darasimi failed. He used that same hand on one of his dogs, yet, the dog did not die.

When he realized that death was certain for him, he wrote a letter and kept it on the dinning table for his wife to read.

On the third day, he bagan to decay. Worms started coming out of his body.

Darasimi decided to visit her matrimonial home. On getting there, she couldn't withstand the odour coming from the house. As she got closer, the odour became soo strong.

She couldn't control her tears immediately she saw Daniel, decayed. Dead!

If not for God on her sides. All the evils plotted by Daniel against her would have befallen her.

She just couldn't stop those tears from flowing. If she had known, she wouldn't had married him. If she knew Daniel was going to end like that, she wouldn't had given him a "yes" when he finally proposed to her that night.

As she was about leaving the house, she saw a white paper. She took it and read its contents. It was a letter written by Daniel to her.

In that letter, Daniel regretted all his actions. He confessed everything.

He made her to understand that it was a pastor in their former church that introduced him to the herbalist.

The pastor called him one day out of pity to proffer solutions to his numerous problems of which poverty was one of them.

Initially, the herbalist wasn't a traditionalist. He was like a pastor. He dressed like a pastor. He had Bible on his table.

Daniel wasn't suspicious because he so much trusted his pastor. He wasn't suspicious because they called the name of God.

It was after he entered into the real covenant that he saw his true color. He was instructed to always make use of Darasimi's sanitary pad every month for renewal. Along the line, her womb was eventually used for one of the sacrifices.

In the quest of making more money, he was the one behind the death of seven kids in the children's section in their church.

Although, he stopped attending that church inorder for people not to suspect him, yet, he did all secretly. He was pressing a button underneath.

Many lives of the members of the pastor's church were gone as a result of sacrifices. Yes, the pastor was into money ritual, no wonder he built a very big church, bought fleet of cars. Traveled out of the country any how...

He narrated how he was being instructed to kill her because she was a major hinderance to his rituals. He made her to know, according to the letter that, each time he wanted to harm her, a shield was always there to cover her from evil.

He narrated how he was being instructed to make life more miserable for her so that she could deny God.

Along the line, all attempts to bring her down became futile. God preserved her.

Daniel said a some words in his letter that made Darasimi to burst into tears.

He said "My dear, I've come to realize that everything is vanity. Vanity upon vanity. What I used lives to build is going down the drain. If I had known, I wouldn't have listened to our fake pastor. If I had known, I would have waited patiently for God to re-write our stories.

Now, I'm leaving all thses behind. They didn't last long. All within 3 years.

I'm losing my life because I was in a haste to make money. Darasimi, I'm so sorry for all I put you through.

Please, find a place in your heart to forgive me. I know hell fire is my portion.

Nevertheless, please, don't forsake the God that delieeverd you from my hands. Hold tight unto Him. He is more than enough for you. I wish I can live again. I wish I can be given another chance to start my life all over again but, it's too late for that. Please, take good care of yourself. "The letter.

Darasimi couldn't control her tears.

It was as if she should go to the decaying body and bring it back to life.

She was still in tears when a part of the house began to burn.

At the spur of the moment, she picked some things she could pick and dashed out of the house to call people who could help her to quench the fire.

In the process of running helter-skelter, something happened.
