A DEVIL IN DISGUISE
{Episode 2}
Janet looked out from the window and saw an expensive car driving into their compound. She wondered who was in the car, she watched as her sister and a wealthy looking young man came out from the car. Her heart was filled with anger cause her sister is about to get married to a wealthy man. She calmed her nerves and sat on the chair in their sitting room patiently waiting for them to come in.
Freda: hey sis, meet Donald my fiancee, Donald meet Janet my elder sister
Janet: it's nice to meet you
Donald: it's nice to meet you too
Janet: what may I offer you?
Donald: anything is okay
Janet: Freda get him a bottle of wine
Freda: okay sis (not so long Freda came in with a bottle of wine.)
As they were drinking and discussing, Janet was feeling so bad but she was covering her sadness with a smile.
After some time Donald left, Freda led him outside and came back to discuss with her sister.
Freda: sis what do you think about him? Hope he's good
Janet: yeah he's good
Freda: okay sis
Janet couldn't sleep in the night. She stayed awake thinking of what to do to stop her sister from getting married, and a plan hit het her head. She laughed evilly and she couldn't wait for morning, so that she can accomplish her plans.
In the morning, she dressed up and headed to a native doctor's place to get solution on how to destroy her sister's marriage plan. When she arrived at the native doctor's place, she ordered him to blind her sister. And the native doctor gave her a powdered substance and asked her to call her sister's name twelve times and blow the substance away. She did it right there and the man assured her that her sister will loose her sight in two days time.
Janet was so happy about it and she payed the man and left.
Janet Came back home feeling so happy. Her heart was filled with so much joy.
Freda: sis, this one you are smiling like this, did you win a lottery?
Janet: I'm smiling because something great is about to happen in my life
Freda: really? What could that be?
Janet: I don't know what it would be. But I know that something great will happen for me (laughs)
Freda: you are funny. Abeg let's eat I'm hungry
Janet: go and get the food nah and get me drink I need to celebrate
Freda: okay I'm coming (left)
Two days later, Freda was sweeping the house and suddenly she felt like something entered her eyes. Her eyes was paining her so badly and she called her sister to come help her out.
Freda: sis!
Janet: Freda what is it?
Freda: my eyes is paining me. I can't see anything ooh
Janet: (smiled in her heart) oups!! Sorry, did something enter your eyes?
Freda: I don't know ooh. I just can't see anything right now. Please take me to the hospital
Janet: okay keep the broom let's leave. (Freda dropped the broom and they left.)
