The Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants are now accepting applications from professional and academic staff at ACU member universities. These grants aim to fund collaborative work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on priority themes including teaching and learning, research, engagement and impact, partnerships, and estates and stewardship. Past projects funded by the grants have ranged from sourcing clean energy for Fijian schools to addressing gender-based disparities in access to finance to support women’s economic empowerment.

Fully Funded Mastercard Foundation-Vanguard Economics Young Impact Associate Fellowship for Africans

The Vanguard Economics Young Impact Associate (YIA) fellowship, funded and implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is now open for applications. As one of 12 YIAs, successful applicants will receive training in socioeconomic research and will work on supporting the Mastercard Foundation's monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities in Rwanda. The YIAs will also collaborate with partners across the continent to strengthen youth voices and African narratives in the impact evaluation field. Vanguard Economics is an advisory and research firm based in Rwanda that delivers high-quality socio-economic and strategic research services.
